CORN
MOISTURE: 1.5% per point shrink plus $.055 per point drying charge from 15.0% to 30.0% 
 
CORN OVER 20% MOISTURE IS SUBJECT TO REJECTION DEPENDING ON THE UNLOADING ELEVATORS CAPACITY TO HANDLE MOISTURE: 
 
TEST WEIGHT: $.01 each 1.0 lb. From 54.0 – 52.0 lbs. Plus
  $.02 each 1.0 lb. From 51.9 – 50.0 lbs. Plus
                           $.03 each 1.0 lb. Below 50.0 lbs.
           
DAMAGE:       2 cent / pt. Or any part of a point above 5.0%, max allowable 10%. Loads over 5% may be rejected depending on elevators ability to handle damage.
 
FOREIGN MATERIAL: 5 cents each 1.0% from 3.1% - 5.0% plus
                                       7 cents each 1.0% above.
 
MILO
MOISTURE: 1.5% per point shrink plus $.06 per point drying charge from 14.0% to 16.0%; 16.1% to 20% will shrink 1.5% plus 10 cents per point drying charge. MILO OVER 16.0% IS SUBJECT TO REJECTION DEPENDING ON THE UNLOADING ELEVATORS CAPACITY TO HANDLE IT. BLADEN/ALMA WILL NOT ACCEPT MILO OVER 16.5% MOISTURE.
 
            TEST WEIGHT: $.01 each 1.0 lb. From 55.0 – 52.0 lbs. Plus
                           $.02 each 1.0 lb. From 51.9 – 50.0 lbs. Plus
                                       $.03 each 1.0 lb. Below 50.0 lbs.
           
            DAMAGE: Market scales of Discounts to Apply.
 
            FOREIGN MATERIAL: 5 cents each 1.0% from 3.1% - 5.0% plus
                                                   7 cents each 1.0% above.
 
SOYBEANS
MOISTURE: 2.5% per point from 13.0% to 16.0% moisture.
16.1% TO 18.0% - 2.5% per point plus $.10 per point drying charge. 
Over 18% subject to rejection.
 
            TEST WEIGHT: $.02 each 1.0 lb. Below 55.0 lbs.
DAMAGE: 3 cents each ½% above 2.0% (Green beans are considered damage)
            FOREIGN MATERIAL: Weight deduction of 1/10th % each 1/10th % above 1.0% F.M.
            SPLITS: 2.5 cents/bu each 5% from 10.0-30.0

1.      Regular cash sale – shrunk to 15.0%.
 
2.   Pricing Options
            a. Delayed Price Contracts –   Will not be offered at harvest.
b. Basis Contracts – Priced basis contracts will stop storage the day they are established, they may be rolled to the next futures month at the spread.
c. Minimum Price Contracts – Create a minimum price, stop storage, and allow the producer upside in the markets. All contract costs must be paid up front.
 
 
3. Open Storage – shrunk to 15.0% at full shrink and dry rates.
a.       Storage will be charged from the date of delivery till the
date sold at a rate of $.0015 per bushel per day.
 
b.    No charges for open storage if sold in the first 15 days.
           
b.       Warehouse Receipts – will not be offered.
 
MILO
1.      Regular cash sale – shrunk to 14.0%.
 
2.   Pricing Options
            a. Price Later Contracts –   Charges will be $.0015 per bushel per day and must be priced by October 1st, 2012.
b. Basis Contracts – Priced basis contracts will stop storage the day they are established, they may be rolled to the next futures month at the spread.
c. Minimum Price Contracts – Create a minimum price, stop storage, and allow the producer upside in the markets. All contract costs must be paid up front.
 
3. Open Storage – Will not be offered.
 
             4. Warehouse Receipts – will not be offered.
 
******** 15 DAY GRACE PERIOD – Corn delivered that does not have a Contract against it will be allowed 15 days from the delivery date of each load to decide which program to go into. If it is not sold it will be put on open storage. On August 31, 2011, each person that has grain remaining in open storage on that date will be notified of the bushel amount.
ALL CONTRACTED GRAIN WILL BE APPLIED THE DATE OF DELIVERY.
 

 

SOYBEANS
              
1. Regular cash sale – shrunk to 13.0%.
 
2.   Pricing Options
            a. Price Later Contracts –   Charges will be $.0017 per bushel per day and must be priced by October 1st, 2012.
b. Basis Contracts – Priced basis contracts will stop storage or DP charges the day they are established, they may be rolled to the next futures month at the spread.
c. Minimum Price Contracts – Create a minimum price, stop storage, and allow the producer upside in the markets. All contract costs must be paid up front.
 
3. Open Storage and Warehouse Receipts will not be offered during fall harvest.
 
           
 
  • 15 DAY GRACE PERIOD- Corn and Wheat delivered that does not have a contract against it will be allowed 15 days from the delivery date of each load to decide which program to go in to. If it is not sold, it will be put on open storage

 

  • Open Storage- By August 31, 2013, each person that has grain remaining in open storage on that datewill be notified of the bushel amount. Daily storage charges continue to accumulate from the date of unload until the date of pricing

 

  • ALL CONTRACTED GRAIN WILL BE APPLIED THE DATE OF DELIVERY
     
 
 
REMINDER
            To all producers – please have all the proper forms signed at the FSA office to ensure that you are eligible for all government programs considering grain sales. If you have any questions, please call your locals FSA office for details.   
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
DEFERED PAYMENT CONTRACTS
 
 
All new Deferred Payment Contracts will be made with a payable date of January 2nd, 2013. Funds will be made available that day and all checks that are not picked up that day will be mailed as of close of business next day.
 
No premiums will be paid for Deferred Payment Contracts. Once a contract is entered into for Deferred Payment, funds absolutely will not be made available until the date of payment on the contract.
